This body of work explores contemporary girlhood through intimate moments and untamed spaces, tracing vulnerability, joy, rebellion, and growth. It looks back to a pre-internet era and questions the present moment of media. What did it mean, and what does it still mean, to exist in a femme body within a patriarchal world?

At a time when abortion rights are increasingly restricted and anti-trans legislation leads the country, this work holds space for a collective longing of something softer, and more free. But that longing is complicated. Was it ever better? Once, it was.
